Short-Term Care Insurance
Short-Term Care insurance explained
Short-Term Care insurance can be used to help cover the cost of care received outside of a hospital or doctor’s office setting. This may include non-medical care, such as assistance with bathing and getting dressed, or medical care, including medication administration or the changing of bandages or dressings.
You can use Short-Term Care insurance when recovering from an illness or injury, or when additional assistance is needed as you age. It can help pay for five different types of care, including home healthcare, and care received at an assisted living or nursing home facility.
